very very discouraged

I am so discouraged. I spent $600. on a mouthpiece for apnea...didnt work..I had UPPP surgery..didnt work, so I finally realized I must go on cpap. The problem is I have yet to sleep all night, only a few hours I wake up and pull it off. I have been trying for close to 2 weeks and I read where others say the very first night was the best sleep they have had. Im on the Sullivan V and mirage mask ,home health tells me the mask I have is the best. What can be wrong? About ready to throw in the towel.
