Hi Jeff,
You're the first male I've spoken to with a thyroid problem - but I expect you're always being told that. The memory thing is a real ******, isn't it? It's one symptom I've noticed is really deteriorating. I've been treated for six years with T4 and it's only now that I've discovered there are other possible treatments. I think I'll see how I get on with them before looking more into the sleep apnea possibility (avoidance maybe?).
Re diet, I find I have to be very careful about what and how much I eat - wheat, sugar and alcohol being the main culprits. Yet I used to have a cast-iron constitution. I have to keep telling myself: I'm only 38. I shouldn't be like this!
I'm glad to hear you're sorting things out and feel so optimistic. Thanks to the internet, I do too.
Jacki
