Hi Tab, I have similar problems. 43, 10lbs over ideal wgt, many teeth missing since a teenager,therefore wears appliances, restless leg syndrome, mouth breather, diabetic.. I had the UPPP it didnt work, had deviated septum corrected, didnt work, got fitted with a mouth appliance worn at night to bring jaw forward..didnt work. I now have a cpap and hope to acclamate to it soon and have good news to report. I too have many doubts about the major surgical procedures...success rates do not seen to be too great. Hang on...I know how u fee.
