Unfortunately the cpap story does not end with "they lived happily ever after". I have had my cpap since April of '99. After the first night I felt better than I had in years,Probably because that was the first sleep in ages. After 10 months some nights are great some are terrible. BUT the good nights are happening more ofter and the bad ones less. It gets better. It is never perfect and will never be like it was before you developed apnea. You can do it. Just keep looking for what you need to make it work for you. I use the machine every night. When I have a whole week of good nights I really celebrate. Everyone here understands your problem and cares. Just bring your grumbles here and vent when you need to. It helps.
