I have just finished TWO NIGHTS with the same setup you have except I have a passover humidifier. I haven't taken mask off yet but did wake up twice with mask leaks and nasal congestion. I'm trying AYR saline nasal spray to clear nose and also NasalCrom. I don't fall asleep right away because I keep fiddling with the mask for about 30 minutes until I'm finally satisfied with how it fits. Even though I have had but 5 hours sleep both nights, I felt really awake this AM. Arrived at work at 7:30 am to everybody's surprise. I usually come in at 10:30 am because I was so sleeply in the morning. Haven't dozed at my computer today but did a little yesterday.
I'm not totally pleased with the Mirage. It is comfortable and doesn't leave any marks on my face. But it tends to disconnect at the stabilizer bar that goes on your forehead. After two nights, I'm almost ready to superglue the stupid thing. I haven't solved the problem with the hose yet. I turn my head and my mask leaks because the hose pulls/bends the little hose the connects at the stabilizer bar. Also, the headgear shifts around alot when I sleep. I don't have long hair but I have very fine, very straight hair that tends to allow the headgear to go anywhere it wants. I'm think I might like to try BREEZE nasal setup.
The only physical complaint I have is the constant feeling of pressure in my esophagus. It doesn't go away during the day and doesn't seem to be gas because I can't seem to burp it away. Hope this goes away soon.
Hang in there. Things aren't perfect for me yet but I'm making progress.
