Help please.

Hello everyone,

This is a great site. I am reading these posts and thinking that i also have sleep apnea. I have a tremendous amount of trouble sleeping and I wake up (if i sleep) so tired the next day from lack of sleep. I have questions that im sure are already answered, but there are so many posts and forums I don't know where to start.
But i'd like to know if there are there various "steps" that others with sleep apnea try before it is determined that surgury is needed? If so what are they?
Please help, i am tired of being tired all the time and not feeling rested.
I'd also like to know why is it that breathing is not a problem until I go to sleep...i breathe find during the day?
I'm really new to this info and i would appreciate all the info and insight that i can get from others going through this. Please feel free to e-mail me at eyes1@hotmail.com

Thank you.

Sheila
