Perhaps you shouldn't drive until you get your CPAP. If you're employed, I beleive that you can go on disability if you have no other way to get to work.

I had one accident about 2½ years before being diagnosed. After that I was very careful, constantly pulling over to take naps. I once took a two hour nap on the way back from out-of-state. Naturally, I haven't done that since CPAP. Nonetheless, driving under these circumstances is very dangerous. If I was aware of my condition, I wouldn't have driven.
