Posted by Deb on February 20, 2000 at 20:21:12:I recently got a heated humidifer and I've been
having a problem. I've look back on forum 25 on
condensation and see that you have to adjust the
setting my question is if your room is cold not
freezing but cold and you have alot of condesation
in your mask and tubing do you turn in down or up.
I started at a setting of 5 and now have it down to
3 but don't have any relief. It's been suggested
I put the whole works on the floor. I feel uncom-
fortable with this due to having pets in the bedroom
that sleep on the floor and allergies (like dust,
mites, etc. Presently have it on a stand next to the
bed and the tube hung up high on the wall to help
drain the condensation back into the chamber. Any
suggetions. The one good thing I've found since
using the humidifer is that the nasal drainage isn't
as bad as before. Any suggestion would be greatly
appreciated.Thanks,
Deb
