Container wise, i have two container types.The only difference was the water capacity and in fact i got the taller one because i was running out of water at night with the shorter container. I saw the newer model F&P's on an ebay auction sale site and it looked as you described.I was't in the market so i didn't get the model number although i did note it looked different and had more features.John
