HELP!! need feedback about the genioglossus advancement surgery.

Posted by Vincent on April 19, 2000 at 14:18:13:

Hello all,
I am about to schedule the genioglossus advancement surgery
(the surgery where a chunk of bone is cut from the chin and rotated 90 degrees) My question is , will the chunk of bone under the skin be noticeable to myself and others. will I be able to see a bump there and will it look awkward. Please,
anyone who has had this surgery I would appreciate some feedback!

Thanks,

Vincent
