I know what you mean, John. We are handling Medicare payments and accounting for my wife's parents and it is indeed a nightmare of special interests, rules, and bureaucracy. Compared to our private health insurance it is truly crazy, and gives us insight into what might await us when we are old enough to qualify for Medicare (not that long, in my case).
