I don't know in my case, because I've been overweight for a lot of years, and can't really remember if the symptoms have correlated with weight or not...will find out eventually if the apnea goes away...and I mean eventually, cause it's sure taking a while for the weight to come off! Actually, now that I think about it, the real weight problem began after pregnancies...a license to eat if there ever was one...wanted to make sure the baby got good nutrition, you know :)
