Debi, like Kristine said, keep trying until they listen!!!!!!! I was trying to self diagnose myself for years since the doctors couldn't. I figured I either had Sleep Apnea or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. When I brought these up to many different doctors they just blew me off. One doctor said that Sleep Apnea mostly affects overweight, middle aged, men. I'm thinking, "SO WHAT? DOES THAT MEAN IT CAN'T AFFECT ME???" So finally I found a doctor that took me seriously and instead of blowing me off, asked me several questions about my sleeping habits and such. He referred me to a sleep specialist and I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. I am so grateful to that doctor, because so many of them don't seem to care about illnesses that aren't easy to diagnose. Don't ever give up!!!
