CPAP Obsolescence Irony

Posted by Doug H. on April 18, 2000 at 17:17:55:

In an ealier posting entilied "The CPAP of the Future," many respondants said that "the CPAP of hte Future" should not exist. They said it should be replaced by something better. As much as the CPAP has done for me, I would love for it to make way for something better.

However, in seeing how many people still need tracheostomies, a CPAP that these people could actually use would be such an improvement. Perhaps a new type of CPAP for some of these people, just as CPAP becomes obsolete for most of the rest of us. How ironic.
