What could be wrong and where can I find HELP!

Posted by Debi on April 19, 2000 at 09:53:53:

I am a female in a stressful retail job, looking at my 42nd birthday in a few days. I am sooooo tired every morning, that I almost never anymore, get to work on time. I have to be there at 10am. I have put on 100 lbs in the last 4 years; I never had a weight problem in my life before. I have always woke up many times in the night all my lifenow it is getting much worse. I am not sleeping most nights over an hour at the time without waking up. I am so scatter brained and sleepy all day that I am at the point, I almost cannot do my job at all. I cannot remember most of the time what I was even talking about. I am moody almost wild at times. My 13 year old daughter says my snoring the little time I am asleep wakes her in the other room. I have gone to my doctor and she has ran lab test. I think she must think I am a nut a real basketcase! She has had me on every kind of antidepressent on the market the latest prozic. Nothing is helping. Could I have a sleep problem? I am constantly exhusted. Anyone with any answers, or know of a place I may start to find some. Please, I am watching my life and everything I have worked for go down the drain. Thanks, Debi
