Did you say why you are seeing a pulmonary doctor? I have asthma but I don't wheeze, I cough. Has your pulmonary doctor tested you for asthma?

Coughing can be serious. Seven years ago (when first diagnosed with asthma) I coughed every breath for 9 months. I actually broke a rib coughing so much and so hard. I feel for how bad you must be feeling right now.

I don't know anything about coughing and CPAP. I wish I could help with that question, but I think you should see your pulmonary doctor again.
