Cindi,

My apnea is also fairly severe (RDI/AH ~77). I am
having nose/sinus surgery tomorrow under full
anesthesia. To manage the apnea risk, I am getting
a tracheal tube immediately after going under to
keep the airway open during surgery.

The surgeon is installing some nasal tubes so I can use the CPAP machine (with mask, not pillows)
during the recovery period when I'll be taking
painkillers.

Hope this helps, and good luck.
