Update on coughing!

Posted by Jim (MO) on September 22, 1998 at 21:42:50:

Hello to all-
Thank you to everyone who responded and sent good thoughts my way. Just to update you. My unknown cough has turned into full blown pnuemonia(sp). They have put me on high dosage antiobiotcs and prednisone. If I am not any better by tommorrow they are going to put me into the hospital. It is impossible for me to use CPAP because of the constant coughing and chocking. I am just glad to know that they found something. they are also going to be running a whole series of x-rays on my throat and chest and lung areas. So thank you all once again for sending me your good thoughts ans wishes. I will let you know what happens.
