I have to thank you for this story...you may have helped solve a problem for my wife.

About a month ago my wife started waking up at 3 or 4 am and would be unable to get back to sleep. We were stumped as to why this was happening but after I read your letter to her she thinks she has the answer now.

At 3 or 4 am I wake up and take off my headgear and turn off my c-pap. Without the white noise to comfort her she can't sleep and ends up wide awake. If I put the c-pap back on she drifts off to sleep again.

Thanks for your help!
