When I went on retreats with my barbershop chorus, I was one of those who got put off in a separate area, because of my nasty snoring, even to the point of being put in a different wing of the building.

Once I went on CPAP, and showed the guys my machine, and how quiet both it and I were, I was sought out as a roommate, especially by one guy, who was a senior captain with Northwest Airlines. He said that the "white noise" of my machine helped him sleep. (That's kind of a scary thought, when you realize that the noise our machines make is similar to the sounds that the flight crew would hear in the flight deck of an airliner).

Hey, you've just started CPAP, just started a new job, and already you've got your boss siding with you! Way to go, girl!
