Recently took my CPAP machine etc on a lecturing trip to S.E. Asia. & carried my manual and an OSA information leaflet with me. Wasn't queried in Malaysia or Singapore, but was grilled coming back into Australia - manual etc was enough to satisfy customs - though I think they were more concerned about me trying to sneak it in "duty free" rather than it being a bomb or some other terrorist device.
Interesting set of priorities.
