Therese,
Many here will recognize a lot of similarities between your situation and their own. I can only say, that with the diagnosis of OSA and the successful treatment by CPAP that there can be an
astonishingly significant change! Every night
I fell asleep on the couch in front of the TV after I had finished eating on the couch! It was
like a junkie getting a fix. I would slide down
into the pillows and have this wonderful feeling of peace and happiness that I was finally able to rest. In 2 or 3 minutes, I would be out, snoring away.
I'll just say that since my treatment on CPAP began in May, I've sat on that couch ONCE! In looking back at the way OSA robbed me of quality of life, I never want to feel the untreated effects of hobgoblin OSA again. With
a reversal of all the other symptoms that has taken place in the last couple of months, I'm like a new and improved person. Needless to say, keep the faith and love in your heart, there is going to be a new man emerging from OSA shroud of "living death".
