Therese:

I could tell the same story as all the other people who answered your posting; falling asleep driving, falling asleep constantly, basically, sleeping a whole day in order to get up and teach my night classes; I was afraid I had leukemia and wouldn't tell my doctor I was having these troubles.
Also, please know that OSA can cause depression which contributes to lack of interest in sex, or anything else. I still feel like crying when I think how I was never able to do anything with my son, like even just play a game of checkers or throw around a football.

Getting the CPAP therapy has given me back my life; we are going for hikes in the woods, I am awake (most of the time!) and I no longer clog up the toilet by running to the john all night.

DO stay on target and pursue the right treatment course for your husband; it may take a lot of encouragement and effort to get him to use the CPAP. This forum can really help, there are lots of us out here, and whatever comes up, just run searches on the forums and chances are you'll get some answers.

Wishing you some good news tomorrow when your husband comes back from the sleep lab
(by the way, I was worried nothing would show up, too, and when I got up for my first potty run, I asked the sleep tech if anything happened. I only found out later, did anything happen? I only stopped breathing 104 times!)

Keep us posted!
Amy
