I was told to wash the bubble on my Mirage daily w/ the same soap I wash my face with or my skin will get irritated and then let it air dry. I have been doing that a month w/ no problems. I was told my mask, including bubble, should last 6 months.

I have the same humidifier you mention. I wash it daily with Dial Anti-bacterial soap and hot water and let it air dry. So far so good. I was told it would last 6 months and my black bag it came in came with 2 chambers, so essentially I have 1 year's worth of equipment. I like the humidifier--it works well for me.

Today I was told by a different tech I should be immersing my equipment into 1 part vinegar/1 part water and soaking it half an hour every day in addition to the soap and water. Especially because the humidifier makes a warm moist environment fo germs to thrive in.
