Glad to hear from you John!

My doctor suggested that I sleep on my side until I started CPAP. Others on this forum have suggested one sleep sitting up with a lot of pillows or in an armchair.

Good luck with your new eating routine. Losing weight is something I aspire to, myself. I have to exercise hard to make it work and haven't the energy level for that, though I manage a good walk. I am new to CPAP and hope my energy will improve. Others on this page seem to know of resources of information detailing why it is better to start apnea treatment immediately and allow weight loss to follow. If you are interested, perhaps they can tell you where to find it and provide it to your doctor.

Regardless, good luck on your new routine! I hope you are able to find a position to otain quality sleep. Keep us posted!
Lisa
