And here I thought that I was the only one with this problem! I put on some nasty stuff guaranteed to repell cats and the culprit just licked it off. That cat will eat anything. So now I have sleeves from CONJO on both my long tube and the little one between the machine and the humidifier. Are meant to decrease condensation, and have had on the 6' tube for quite a while (worked well--little condensation and no chomps). Recently added the short one because when I last washed the tube, it leaked. I looked, and sure enough, tooth marks. I had thought that I had positioned things so that he couldn't easily get at it. So far, so good, and at least I think that I will be able to see when he's been chewing. Duct tape makes a reasonable temporary repair, by the way. Good luck!!
