Suffocating feeling

Posted by Frank on May 13, 2000 at 08:05:49:

Anybody got any thoughts on feeling suffocated when first putting on the mask at night? I had one experience where I woke up in the middle of the night with this feeling. I attribute that, thanks to this forum, to opening my mouth. But, I can't account for not being able to get enough air when I first put the mask on. It's happened a few times in the last month. Thanks for your help.
