This could get to be an expensive problem and depending on your level of OSA -- could get to be serious.

1) Keep cat out of bedroom -- always.

2) From my parents who had a problem with the cat and x-mass tree ornaments. Get an electric fence controller for chickens (yes they make electric fences for chickens - Chickens, and cats, need a much smaller jolt than cows). Then using some model RR track, rig it such that the cat cannot get near the CPAP (or in the bedroom) without putting the paw on the track). Cats are smart -- wont be too long and there will be no attempts again to get near - or accross there.

In the end if you don't solve the problem, and the problem continues -- you may have to make the choice between a good nights sleep on CPAP and the resulting health benifiets and your cat. Many other animals make wonderful pets.
