Marco, I had the uppp/tonsilectomy on Thursday, I to am in a lot of pain, my ears have hurt but my Dr. gave me drops for the pain he was sure I would have, they are Auralgan Octic drops. They seem to help, also I have been using a Chloraseptic spray called blue ice from Hall's. I have been using this in between my pain medicine dosages. It eleviates the pain and makes it easier to swallow. I ate a baked potato tonight, all but the skin, not very easily but seems that eating is getting better. Best thing I have eaten so far is broth, and chicken and noodle soup. Also am working my medicine so that I take the pain medicine as soon as I am done eating as this is when it seems to hurt the worst. When I sleep I have the bottle of spray chloraseptic and take this when my throat really starts to hurt. Well, good luck. We are in this thing together. I have learned a lot from the prior entries in the forum also.
