"We do not recommend that the HC200 be powered by a DC to AC
inverter due to the output of most inverters being less than
sinusoidal.We are currently working on modifying the HC200 so it will work on
any inverter, but of course that doesn't help you out now.When the heater plate is on minimum it controls the heater plate
temperature to 35 C. Average of approximately 30 watts."From the rest of his message it sounds like the new model should be close to production in Oct.
