Sounds severe to me. Don't recall the details but have seen previous posts re "severe" starts around 50 or 60 or so, but I don't really recall so suggest you search, or maybe someone else will give the official definition.As far as the pressure, my understanding is that they determine it by whatever is needed to stop you from having obstructive apneas without causing you to have central apneas. Isn't necessarily correlated with your RDI, just how much air blowing in it takes to keep your airway from collapsing. Congratulations on getting diagnosed and good luck with the Bipap!
