My doc used numbers like these based on RDI, but also said oxygen saturation is important as well.

She said something like less than 5 is normal (no apnea) 5-20 is moderate, and over 20 is severe but there was also something about the oxygen saturation being a factor in addition to number of events. Mine went down to low 80's and that had her worried. My RDI was 80 something. All in all it was severe.
