Help, my straps are growing!

I use a Mirage mask in size small/medium. I wish the company offered a small. I think it would fit better if it was closer to my nose, rather than the seal touching the curve of my cheek. I am also seeming to have a problem with the headgear. My straps actually touch each other at the back of my neck! I can't imagine that this is proper. I think that the straps are all stretched out. I have only been on C-PAP for a few months.
