It is possible your machine needs to be adjusted or is having some malfunction. It could, however, be you simply need a new pressure setting. Many believe a follow-up titration is needed anywhere from 6 months to 2 weeks after beginning CPAP. It could be weight loss or gain or simply your body has become accustomed to it and does not need quite so much pressure to keep you breathing.

Get your DME to check the pressure and make sure everything is working right. Then talk to you doctor. I had a range of pressures, 9 - 12, and the clinic bounced the pressure around until I found the one that worked best. If you also have a range you might be able to drop it a notch or two, or even raise it, and see if that helps. If not, a retitration is in order.
