100% Effective? What am I doing wrong?

Posted by David on July 11, 2000 at 21:40:58:

I've been sleeping with a CPAP device for the last four months or so, but can't really see that it's making much difference.

I did a an all-night, all-day study was found to have awakened 250 times in the four hours I slept. I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea and fitted with a machine. I couldn't tolerate the mask that came with it, so switched to another, which is reasonably comfortable. Still, though, not as much improvement as one would hope. What could be wrong?
