You have been on a whirlwind with this OSA, huh?
Do you have to repeat the sleepstudy now? Did they change your pressures? Did the surgery work?
I had the septoplasty and the doc is suggesting the UPPP now; septoplasty helped some but within months, it is not as effective. He said he thinks the UPPP will finish the "fix", but I am skeptical after things I've read on this board. I need some testamonials that indeed, UPPP was an avenue to get OFF CPAP. Seven months now and I still hate it; before you all jump on my case, I know the alternative is worse, but I grieve the simplicity of life where I just went to bed. I really believe I have as many arousals with mask leaks and jaw discomfort (FF mask) than I did with gasping. I am awake A LOT at night, and still tired during the day. So, did UPPP help?
