Whoops, Claritin will not elevate your blood pressure. The way that previous post read, it would. But it won't. ONLY decongestants will elevate blood pressure, and there are just 3 available over the counter: Afrin (oxy-whatchamacallit), pseudephedrine, and Phenylpropanalamine HCl (it took me 3 tries to type that!) :)
