I agree!! It is at LEAST as important that the straps be EVENLY adjusted. That way, I find on the Sullivan Autoset T that it takes LESS pressure on the mask and my face to REDUCE the air leaks. If I had not actually seen the difference, I would not have believed it. What I mean is when the mask is very tight, and UNevenly tight on the various straps, it does not seem to seal as well as when the straps are comfortably adjusted and evenly, then it takes LESS mask pressure to keep it from leaking. My pressure is 16, so I KNOW if it is going to leak and a more evenly adjusted mask greatly and reproducibly reduced mask leaks. Using what for me is a VERY comfortable ULTRA Mirage mask, the new one with the nose bridge adjustment click.
