Can't breathe

Posted by Simon Wrang on July 26, 2000 at 19:12:52:

Hi

My name is Simon, Im 23 years old and live in
Sweden. I've noticed sometimes that I wake up in
the middle of the night not having being able to
breath as my nose has been stuffed up. I feel
this arousy panicy feeling in the body so I take
deep breaths and then after a while i feel normal
again.

I wonder if this is what is called apnea? And is
it dangerous? Ive over a period of time lately have
had trouble concentrating like reading and listening
to what someone is saying - it after a while feels
like my head is gonna explode. Maybe the no-oxygen
thing has caused it?

thanks for any help
kind regards,Simon
