Thanks everybody, your really fantastic!!!
This article is very descriptive of my mothers last years. She was diagnosed as having dementia as a result of TIA's.
This article haunted me at the original reading, and has bugged me sense. Mom always took/needed afternoon naps, and alway's had that weird little snore, that one were you hesitate part way through, then snort a little.
I have three generations of apnea in my family, with Mother, Son, and my son. My brother in law has apnea, and depression and thyroid problems are common (both sisters and brother).
You folks have helped me provide the information necessary to alert the rest of my family of the likelyhood of apnea in future generations.
