hi im a respiratory therapist and hope to answer you questions. auto cpap is nice but not necessary,,once you have been tested and you pressure determined, a regular CPAP should suffice. You also should not use the CPap when you have a stuffy nose . only use it after the decongetion has taken effect. and oh the heated humidier im sure will be thew answer for the stuffy nose...It will provide heated moisture that will help to soothe the mucous membrane..It should do the trick
