Ditto. I found that the forehead piece only lightly has to touch, and the lower straps need to be a little tighter -- but, definitely too tight hinders the seal. Go figure, I don't have any understanding why this is so, but . . .

As the others suggested, if you are having headaches you might try to loosen the top straps and see if that helps.
