Hi Laurie,
Kevin (from Walla Walla) has discussed titrating pressures a few times, and briefly mentions some things in a post at http://www.sleepnet.com/apnea36/messages/410.html
He also discusses titration and stuff of that nature a little earlier in a duscussion that started out on the same main subject between Perry and I about autopaps.
Kevin and the others who work in the field always point out that prescribed pressures are not just the pressures numbers derived from the titration, the data gathered as a result of those pressures while the titration is taking place is also considered in determining the prescribed pressure.
This is why they tell us that it is as much art, as science, in determining pressures.
