I have severe osa with central components and use a resperonics BIPAP S/T with a backup rate and have an F&P heated humidifier.
I seldom have nasal congestion since adding the heated humidifier, but when I do, I carefully blow my nose to clear as much as possible, and put on my machine.
It finishes the job (of clearing the airway), and I do fine.
I would not consider not using my machine because of nasal congestion.
Please note my post today on forum 37 regarding my recent hospital stay with pneumonia.
