How do I know if my mask leaks...

Posted by Kevin on August 08, 2000 at 22:47:46:

I am using a respironics mask. When I wear the straps lose I feel some air leaking on my face and going into my eyes. But if I tighten the straps it disappears. But the straps hurt a lot. Also the leaking is very subtle, I cant feel it if i put my finger near it.

I saw the discussion about air exhaust being normal, but my mask has an air exhaust right below the nostril, so I dont see any reason for an additional outlet for air at the top of the mask.
