BONE DRY

Posted by Duffy on August 09, 2000 at 06:10:04:

Hi...it's bone dry in Colorado and my heated humidifier. Is there any problem of burning the element out??? So I have gone from EXCESSIVE rainout to EMPTY in the morning(and probably earlier than that!) Now the setting is down to 1.5 from 2. Relative humidity was 14% last night. Oh well, I give up trying to figure this out...just want to know if my humidifier is safe. I did switch over to AYR nasal gel and I am really dried out this morning from no moisture thru the night. I sure am an advocate of heated air thru the hose.

Thanks
Duffy
