if my physics 101 still hold true, simply
1-get a ruler- preferably metric.
2- run a container with water 5-6 inches deep.
3- hold end of hose to bottom of ruler- or tape.
4- put to bottom of container and turn on power.
5- gradually raise ruler/hose till bubbles come out.
6- read measurement for settting.
7- if inches- 1 inch= 2.54 cm, 1cm= .39 inch
8- works for me
