My posting was not intended to be practicing medicine without a license, it was simply a response on how to conveniently check the presure of a cpap- not to change settings. Nor did I think followups did either.
I respect and admire Sandmans efforts and hard work in this valuable forum. I do not however, agree with his admonitions that we be so politically correct and that he/the forum have a degree of culpability with any bad advice by well meaning people.
If the medical community had answered the concerns and questions of posters, there would be no need for this forum.
A simple caveat that the opinions expressed by the posters should never take the place of professionals and comments be considered as opinion of the poster.
Anyone who has gone to a physician recently and tried to get a meaningful answer to ANY question knows what I mean.
I could be wrong.
