This is the sort of thing I was pointing out in my original posting (since removed) -- that the settings (and the machine displays) are not always accurate. Apparently the policy of the forum is that we are supposed to take off from work and possibly spend $50-$100 getting a technician to check it. If the technician really knows how.

Personally I would not change my own prescribed pressure settings up or down without a new sleep test or without consultation with my doctor (as I also stated in the removed post).

This is my last regular post (a relief to many, I'm sure). I may not be able to resist dropping in from time to time, of course. The owner of the forum has long walked the line between moderating it and controlling it, and in my opinion has now clearly crossed that line. I'm casting my vote with my feet. What's the point of a discussion forum if we cannot talk about issues of importance, even controversial ones, not answered by our doctors?
