Ramp

Most CPAP machines have a "ramp" feature. Just as the name implies, it starts at a low pressure and gradually builds up to your prescribed pressure. Generally it takes from 5 to 20 minutes to reach full pressure. Most ramps can be diabled, either permanetly and/or each time you turn on the machine.
